To place a bid, you’ll need to register for a free Bidsy account using your email address.

Explore our live auctions, which are added as new items become available — there’s no fixed schedule. Be sure to check back often or follow us on social media and subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
Each listing includes:
Detailed product images
Descriptions of any known damage or defects
Start price (which also serves as the reserve price)
A visible countdown timer
Note: Items are available online only and cannot be physically viewed.

You can place manual bids or use our auto-bidding system to stay ahead automatically.
How Bidding Works:
You’ll see the current bid and next minimum bid on each auction.
When you place a higher bid, the system will automatically increase your bid in set increments only as needed, based on competing bids.
Bid Increments:
R0 – R999: R25
R1,000 – R2,999: R50
R3,000 and up: R100

Each auction runs for a limited time — watch the countdown on the listing.
If a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes, the auction will automatically extend by 1 minute to give all bidders a fair chance.

If you’re the highest bidder when the auction ends:
You’ll receive an email confirmation
You’ll have 3 calendar days to complete your payment via Paygate or EFT
You’ll have 5 calendar days to collect your item or arrange delivery

Payments can be made via:
Paygate (Instant Online Payment)
Direct Bank Transfer (EFT)
Payments are confirmed once funds clear in Bidsy’s account. No collection or delivery will be processed until payment is confirmed.

Once your payment is confirmed:
You can collect your item from 27 Manchester Road, Chiselhurst, East London
Or, choose delivery at checkout (available in East London main areas only – max 20km radius)
If you fail to collect or arrange delivery within 5 days, your purchase will be cancelled and your payment refunded minus a 5% cancellation fee.
